I got ya. My only question is how do you know MVP won't be a good representation of baseball when it hasn't come out yet? ASB will most likely have similar gameplay to last year (which was good). MVP is still going through changes and from the sound of it, many gameplay problems from last years version are now fixed.

In any case, it's just too early to tell which game is going to be the best representation or the best playing or the best sounding etc.... That's why I'm getting all of them and I'll make my decision that way!

Yes, it would seem that just as Arcade Baseball games were touted well by reviewers on major Game sites like Gamespot and IGN, many people like the arcade feel also. It's still a little strange to me, because if any game has had an arcade feel in gameplay in the past, it's been ASB. They're taking a little bit of that away but adding the hole arcadey "HOME RUN!" stuff, ASB is just kinda always an inbetween game yaknow? Some people just want one or the other, and some people want the inbetween. It's hard being the middle child. I'm sure none of this makes sense....but that's okay.

i dont know about any of you but.. to me real baseball means that it has everything that real baseball has... which asb has....

rule 5 draft
arbitration
etc etc etc...

these are things that people have been begging for for yrs... and thy have them... this is REAL baseball... front office wise..... this is what im talking about... the play on the field doesnt have to be so perfect that i cant see anything wrong. but i dont sit there and nit pick a game for the smsll stuff, like gloved being wrong or batting stancses or whatever..as long as it isnt like old triple play on the field im fine... just give me more front office stuff to make it feel like real baseball... mvp ... doesnt have it.. and...most of the gamers for mvp.. are... teens.. and that is just the market that ea has targeteed... i see asb being more for the older more adult crowd...

Maybe there is no "worry" because people are finally getting over the "this developer is my favorite so their game is the best" crap. It's a video game, I have better things to "worry" about than whether a particular game is getting enough airtime. Buy the one YOU like. Why worry about what other people are doing.

Maybe there is no "worry" because people are finally getting over the "this developer is my favorite so their game is the best" crap. It's a video game, I have better things to "worry" about than whether a particular game is getting enough airtime. Buy the one YOU like. Why worry about what other people are doing.
