It's nice to have solid choices this year

Granted MVP is getting all the hype (most of it actually might be warrented), if someone picked up All-Star, ESPN MLB, or even MLB... people are going to get a good game this year.

Last year we all had a pretty good idea what games would be good and not good before they came out (half due to Steve's beta impressions on games). Last year most of the games felt like the previous years version which didn't help out that much, but this year is different and it's great. Everyone has tried to add something and improve upon what they did right last year.

It's funny how much everyone is sticking up for the their games - it reminds me of the football wars. I can't wait for the Sunday Wars to begin in July-Sept.

As stupid as this sounds, it's nice to finally have so many good choices for baseball games.

I couldn't agree more - good choices means good competiton which means developers striving to implement new angles and ideas to make their game more attractive. This year we have seen the additions of Fielder Cam, playable minor leagues, franchise mode improvements, serious graphical overhauls, etc....

I'm getting ASB, but I hope all the games do well and sell a lot of copies so next year all the companies can come back (along with Microsoft) and continue to push to make things better.

More choices is a good thing for all of us, no matter which game(s) you get.

Even PC gamers benefit - MVP's improved a lot this year from the hands on reports, and the PC players can thank the platform competition for that.

the situation reminds me of my current QB situation with Vandy...like i might just use everybody, i might just play everything
