IGN calls this a depth chart. These are by no means scores of any kind. They are basically saying, hey this is what we think about each game based on all the info we have.
It's stupid, but they do it every year.
BTW, did you guys know that MLB Slugfest licensed Baseball Mogul for their stats engine? WTF? I guess they have the typical Slugfest style game, and PRO mode that is suppose to be realistic. Anyway, this info came from GI

I agree, these are just previews, and secondly, I could care less what other people's opinion of the game is, I play what I like.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
