Same here bro. I have been thinking about what to do for the last several days now. Tonight, I just made a decision. I don't want to mention any names but a certain beta tester who we will just call "John Dowd," said that if he had to make a decision as which game to get, it would be ASB 2005 just because it plays more realistic than MVP 2004. That helped my decision as gameplay/realism is still my #1 concern. After watching all of those MVP 2004 movies, I can still see that MVP still needs more time in the gameplay department when it comes to authenticity.Comment

Re: Who prepurchased ASB 2005 already?
Not a real tuff decission here.
Most important to me is realism and stats, and the number one feature.. MANAGE MODE... not alot of choices here.
But we are also content just to watch CPU vs CPU games and play the role of GM's makeing all the roster moves, minors, and Draft.
Second of all, We were lookin for a game to replace High Heat that we have had a 5 man league in for several years, but that requires us to each own a Team and Multiplayer does not seem to be an option in any title this year.
I was very disappointed with the lack of offense in ASB last year, Hopefully that has been addressed so...................
I am buying ASB for Xbox, I am also buying MVP for my PC, hoping that being a PC version, It may have a few more options than the console version.. Like Multiplayer....
My good buddy really wants ESPN, so I am buying that also, But If I don't like it he will take it off my hands...
And the same goes for MLB.... So I will have them all, Keep what I like and sell the others.
Problem solved.
I just hope one of them plays great. When I do something right, No one ever remembers.
When I do something wrong, No one ever forgets.!Comment

Re: Who prepurchased ASB 2005 already?
No preorder yet but tomorrow or wed Im picking up some games and might go ahead and pre-order then. MVP was never a choice for me. EA does not support Xbox Live so I do not support them. Had WSB last year and it was good but I really like what ASB is doing this year with fielder cam. I also think ASB is more realistic so ASB is the game I'm getting this year. Also don't underestimate how far developer interaction in forums go (that has easily swayed me on several games - just knowing the devs are reading and answering questions for the fans).Comment
