    Some more questions...

I have some more questions regarding the game (no not its release date).

How exactly will the analog hitting work? I read some previews, but dont really understand.

I'm really big on realism so, will pitchers miss their spots and throw outside and what not bringing to a higher pitch count?

I hear that there are dropped 3rd strikes, but how often does it happen?

When they say they beefed up the players to make them look more real, how so? I didnt really notice.

I hear they added even more batting stances (MVP is overrated, I remember last year there were about 10 different batting stances) and pitching stances. How does Kevin Brown look now? Last year he didnt pitch a thing like him (his stance when he does the twist). How about Mussina? He never did his bend over to look at the runners on base?

Thats pretty much it, can someone give me links to some pictures of Hideki Matsui? I want to see how he looks in this game. Any pictures of all the other players traded for or signed his offseason? Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Also, I'm a little upset to hear that you dont have hot/cold streaks (I read that all the other games have this and even the arcade like MVP) but still, this game offers stuff the others dont, spring training, arbitration and trade blocks! This game is really realistic and overlooked.

    Re: Some more questions...

Analog hitting is very similar to a golf game like LInks or tiger woods. You swing using the right analog stick. Hold it down, then fling it up to swing. At the same time, using the left analog stick to aim . Not sure my hands are that coordinated, but I am excited to try it even on easy hitting.

I ll answer what questions I can (out of memory). But I think most are answered in the above stickies, and be better served to read those to answer your questions.

          1) Right analog stick, I believe is used like Links, hold back and push foward.
          2) I think I remember reading they modified it so your control wont be so pin point.
          3) I know there are 3rd dropped strikes, Last years had, I would see 3 or 4 a game. It all depends on the player/difficulty though. Actually attempting to pitch. Throwing 2 fastballs, than followed by a change up works for 3rd dropped strikes. Curveballs work really well on the outside corner.
          4) For beefed up players, look at the screen shots and judge for yourself. To me it looks like they added more body types so it actually matches Baseball players. Last year there were only 2? So it you were either skinny or big.
          5) More signature batting stances/pitching were added i do remember reading
          6) you will have to look your self for pictures
