    New Release dates from ebgames

I have just found out the "new" release dates for ASB'05:

For Xbox: 3/23.. same as has been for a few months
For PS2: 3/30... pushed back yet another week

This stinks all of us PS2 owners because I was really set for the 23rd, and now it looks as though we have to wait an extra week. By the way, these release dates are from Ebgames.com. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, at least for PS2 owners.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Actually the Xbox date has only changed in the past 3 weeks not couple of months.

AS for the PS2 date, that sucks for PS2 owners.

I have no idea why these dates are getting pushed back. ASB_Man says it's out of his control. By saying that, I interepret that as ASB team didn't do any more tweaking or last minute fine tuning to delay the game. If that's not the case I really have no clue. The game was finished as scheduled but the dates for both systems are moved back. Maybe it has to do with marketing, and they want to be able to properly advertise the game in magazines and websites before the game comes out.

I think a good answer to this is that they are trying to distance themselves from all the hype and media around MVP, since they probably don't feel that threatend by ESPN MLB.

I stil think some of these compaines that have good games, should try and go head to head with EA one year instead of moving dates to avoid. Eventually good game play, positive press, and fan support will help out a company. To bad Sega decided to try and change their gameplan in some cases this past year - they should make the game they have always been making - more sim based instead of trying to do what EA does so well... a middle ground. Some of us don't want a middle ground and when more casual gamers find out how much fun sim stuff can be, then EA will finally head that way and it makes everything better for us gamers.
