ASB Rocks when it comes to details. I broke out '03 the other day, and remembered some of the cool things like Jets at Shea and train sounds at Safeco. I didn't get '04, but some of the things you guys mentioned sound awesome. I am planning on picking up '05.

I find it amusing to read what details impress fans of the other baseball games. I think alot of guys would be blown away by ASB.

My favorite "little" things:

The way the batters grind the bat in their hands at the plate.

The "scrambled eggs" on my Virginia Admirals ballcaps.

Ambient sounds in the pick-up games. Kids playing, birds chirping, the rumble of a distant Harley as it comes to a stop then guns and fades away. This game is F'n SICK.

Batting Practice. A game that not only has BP but where you NEED BP.

Warmup swings. Bottom of the 9th 2 on, you need a hit. Nervous energy is crackling at your fingertips. You NEED a practice swing! I HATE not having that in MVP. You gotta stand there like an idiot while the pitcher choses his pitch and delivers. UGGGGGGHHHHHH.

At one of the old-time parks(I forgot which), the tour tells you it was built near an old railyard. At that park, you hear trains going by every couple of minutes.

I was playing at Wrigley the other day. The visiting team blasted a HR into the seats, and the bleacher bums threw it back. OMG, that is awesome.
