I hope ASB is a great game this year. If it is, then everyone should be satisfied and we can keep the stupid ASB vs. WSB vs. MVP wars to a minimum.

If ASB is much improved this year, then I will give it a shot. I am just skeptical, but I have been wrong before and I am sure I will be wrong again.

I have an older xbox and I have no frame rate issues at all in MVP. This game is Hella Fun ! My prediction is ASB won't be as FUN to play, but ASB will look better and have more depth in franchise mode.

I would agree with this. I will say this about ASBm, when it comes to stadium graphics and overall visual appeal of the game, there is currently no baseball game that's even in the same league as ASB. I am curious to see what MLB looks like, because the vids make it tough to tell. But as good as WSB's stadiums looked last year, ASB's were still by far the best. imo of course.

Depth of the franchise has never been disputed either. Their franchise mode was very deep and very thorough.

but Personally, I'd have to say anyone who had any problems with ASB last year was out of their mind. IMHO the "problems"...if they could even be called that....were so minimal that they did not effect gameplay. It seems to me that a framerate issue would actually have a chance of taking you out of the game somewhat, whereas last year's "Vacuum Balls" and "Crouch" problem were so stupid that it didn't even matter, and you got used to it after a while. Hell, you could tell eash time with the whole "Vacuum effect" that it would have been caught anyways. What was the problem there? Oh no, my outfielder is Crouching....somebody stop the madness....

It's true what someone said up there, for everyone different problems will affect them more than others. And everyone will look at people opposite of their view of problems and see them as Mental Patients in a Psych Ward to be upset at what they see as "such little things".

MLBLover is just a really straightforward guy, or at least from what I've seen this is the case. I'm sure he doesn't mean any harm by what he says.

I'd also like to say that I think there will be very few problems with ASB....fewer than have already been discovered for MVP. Heh....it just seems to me that since MVP threw together that Online thing for PS2 and PC at the last second (quite literally) it's only fitting that they only let you use the #1 starter. ASB had their Online feature the whole time. Their last minute features were basically touchups to stadiums (ala Fenway), and adding their custom music feature to the Bullpen. It's usually the last minute things that produce problems, and since they already had the huge core of the game already intact long before they let it go, I'm seriously not worried at all here. It's my opinion that ASB will turn more than a few heads this year, and that I'm going to be too busy playing it to notice or care.
