Hmmm, no stat tracking for minor leaguers?? In the past, how would you know if your minor league player is ready to make the leap to the big leagues? Is there some sort of scouting report that tells you or is it just a hit and miss sort of thing?

If memory serves me correctly, yeah I think you judge minor leaguers based on scouting reports and the like. Again, I've never played ASB so I might be wrong but I don't think I am. I hope I'm wrong.

You went with player ratings. No stats, but instead the various ratings for hitting, pitching, ect.

Thanks guys. I played ASB last year, but didn't even start a Franchise or look too deeply into it...

I'm pretty sure the minors have individual ratings between A and D (don't remember seeing anyone with an F). If you've got an A- shortstop in the minors, then you're more likely to call him up over a C+ first baseman or B- second baseman. Unless your first baseman gets hurt, that is. I'm trying to remember whether the letter grades change/progress during the year..pretty sure they do but I could be wrong about that.

Yeah if they change throughout the year based on performace then that would be really cool.

1. No minor league stat tracking
2. Sleeve length is determined by weather
3. Kevin Millar,Damien Miller,Rick Reed,& Brian Daubach will not be in the game
4. No speed burst button
