I have pretty much accepted the fact that the game is not supposed to come out until 3-23-04. Well, we got our Saturday paper today (but it comes with Sunday ads in it), and was browsing through the Best Buy ad, and they have ASB '05 advertised in there! It didn't have a "available xxxxx" graphic over it either. I didn't heed it too much excitement due to the fact that Best Buy has done this before...advertised a game coming out and saying it is in-store, when they don't have it. Heck, even BB website says "available 3-25-04".
However...I went into the store to look for something else and asked an employee about it. He said that he has seen it in the back, and they are waiting to put it on the shelves Sunday, March 14, 2004. I asked if I could buy one right then. He went into the back to get it for me, but apparently, it was being inventoried, so I couldn't get it.
I fully intend to stop in tomorrow and check on this! Most likely, Best Buy is once more mistaken, but I will cross my fingers and hope against hope.
