Maybe they prefer the graphics of the old NES baseball games...

They must be drunk when they reviewed this because how can the stances be off when most of them were in the last several games? EGM just lost credibility in their review there.

As for fielder's cam, DON'T GRIPE ABOUT IT IF YOU'RE TOO LAZY TO CHANGE IT. I know that was unnecessary, but it looks to me they didn't even spend 30 minutes on the review... back to MVP they go. And speaking of being able to change things? I doubt they even tried changing their baserunning controls. I bet if you threw in sliders they'd be happy.

Oh, franchise mode, sorry if there's no playable minor leagues or team chemistry... Sorry if you don't know anything about rule V drafts. I bet if another game had this stuff they'd be praising it.

Bad review... that's the last time I'll be reading them from EGM... They've showed me that they just downright hate ASB.

yea i know you dont like people trashing your game or all star has imporved monumentally but last year asb was not that good like a 7/10 it wasnt what it was in the 64 days but just my opinion

It's not my game, but IMO the game does not deserve this low of score, but knowing EGM, since it's not made by Sega or EA, they'll go and bash something that most likely would be praised if it was in another game.

Even though i havent yet played the game i can say with some confidence that these guys dont have a clue. With some glaring problems that MVP has how can they rate that so high and ASB so low.

Money...Money....money..money...money....and they probably got a EA pencil holder and some shirts,,,and maybe they were promised beta copies before the next release!

I don't think it's that as much as it's just...

EGM has preconceptions about certain games and series, and they absolutely refuse to go out on a limb and say the game by the lesser-known developer or the less-established series is better in some ways.

I've subscribed to EGM for years, and I've seen this pattern in their reviews time and again. It really doesn't matter how good a game is. It's more about reinforcing the opinions of the uninformed casual gamer.

They want to tell people what they think people want to hear.

Does that make any sense?
