Let's face it. MVP is for people who play arcade games and MLB is more suited to those who enjoy a more "real to life baseball game". What I mean is this:

MVP users like the meters, the dives every other play, the unrealistic homeruns by everyone on your team ('Just push up and right'), etc. etc.

MLB users like the fantastic AI (Runners advance on a single from 1st to 3rd and 2nd to home), career mode, franchise mode (talk about depth!) and the realistic 'slow paced game of baseball'.

If you want to play head to head against a friend and see who can hit the most homeruns, I say MVP is your best bet. If you want to play solo and get really into the game either in career mode or franchise mode, I say MLB is your best bet. Either way, you can't go wrong with these games. They both serve their own purpose.

I'm loving my MLB 2005.............it's my choice for this year.

And MVP is a great game too......I like the Minors !

So at least there's good Baseball games this year for all of us ?...Most of us !

i actually like the three that have come out so far.. mvp i like due to it's quick paced play.. being able to play as minor league teams also is another bonus.. mlb brings the realism to the table.. 989 stepped to the plate in a big way.. & asb, well, i have been a fan of the series for several years so it goes w/o saying... and most likely i'll give slugfest a shot too.. but i appreciate all of the games so far (just sorta wished EA would have done more testing of the game to get rid of the glitches)..
