I dunno whether or not this has been said, I just read the first few pages and skimmed the rest, because there was an issue I wanted to address from the first few pages:

I'm pretty pretty PRETTY damn sure ASB_man said when asked of the pitch speeds, that the 4th pitch speed was equal to last years fastest pitch speed. Reviewers complained about ASB04's pitching being too fast, and yet you have the ability to make it even faster in 05, and suddenly it's "too slow"? Heh....bull...

They dared to even try and bash the sound department? Funny how none of the reviewers thus far have made any mention to the Custom Soundtracks.

It's pretty obvious by now that most if not all major reviewers are going to mislead about this game. As mentioned, they leave out WAY too much that you can almost tell they knew about before they wrote the review. Upon reading all these reviews, the things you gather from them pretty much sum up as "this is the same game as the year before, the feilder cam sucks, you can't change cams, pitch speeds are slow and pitching is unrealistic, pitching speeds/types cannot be changed, the player models suck, the faces suck, the stances are not as real as other games out this year"....and of course, everything else they leave out of it you may never know about if you're an average buyer trusting their review. No mention of how great stadiums are, no mention of how the stances are indeed much better, no mention of the many options in settings, no mention of the custom soundtracks, no mention of the additions to expansion including original home team chatter, playability in classic stadiums, ect., and above all else a thin and unspecified rant about how "Bad" the feilder cam is, regardless of how it looks (I think many will agree it looks great, makes the game look more realistic, but might also be pretty difficult to get used to). EVERY review of this game pretty much has said the same things. Either they are telling the truth, which I'd be suprised to find out that ASB-man lied about around 40-50 of the options said to have been in the game, they spent little time on the game (I doubt it for some of them, most of these seem much too squirly), or they purposefully attempted to mislead the reader into believing falsehoods about the game, leading them to believe it offered little by mentioning a few things and leaving many of the options out. They attempt to make it look outdated and underdone, and by leaving out so many of the options that MAKE this game what it is, they succeed in many ways. I'm not happy about it, all I am happy about is that I was able to notice deceit(sp?) before it could affect my decision. Glad to see I'm not among the gullible this time around.

Also a complaint in several reviews of ESPN and MLB. Apparently no baseball game developer can get this right. I've played all the games except ASB(played last year though and hated the fielding) and ESPN had the best fielding of the bunch.

I believe because most people want a fair review...not mentioning options to the person unfamiliar with it will keep on going.
