My biggest questions are, is hitting variety improved in the zone hitting interface? And is the CPU offense a little more potent this year? Will the CPU baserunning AI continue to get better (runners on 2nd advancing on a groundball to the right side of the infield etc.).

I haven't seen any answers to these questions? Have any of these been brought up?

The runner on second advancing to third on a grounder to the right side is a big pet peeve of mine, and I know it worked properly in 04.

It worked properly in 04 most of the time. I still saw instances where it didn't. This is a big pet peeve of mine, because if it doesn't work, hitting behind the runner is not a valuable strategy. MLB looks to be the game that has it down the best, as this was in issue with even HH.

04, did a better job of it, but there were still times when they didn't advance.

You are right, it does work correctly in MLB. My only problem is the CPU tries to throw over there to often to get me out. That is my biggest AI flaw with MLB. What is weird is it does not happen all the time. The 3 times I have seen it have always been with 2 outs.

Agreed, that has been my experience also. Doesn't seem like the CPU has thrown to 3rd on that play often, but it does happen, and I haven't noticed any rhyme or reason to it.

"--Every review from EGM, OXM, or IGN has said that ASB has the worst batting stances, player faces, and distinctive animations of any baseball game on the market. All three spent a good chunk of the review trashing fielder cam, which is one of two optional views."

This bugs me a lot, for two reasons, 1) the stances, most of them are similar to last years because they're using the same database with just more stances, how can they be inaccurate all of a sudden, I would believe this if it was in last years or 2003's review. 2) I've seen stances off in MVP as well. No not the generic one but the ones after the players, Brian Giles comes to mind.

Oh well, I'll say it again, it's not a game killer, just like the crouch issue in ASB, the lefty power discrepency in MVP, and the player progression in MVP.
