The only problem is, you are asking this on an ASB board, naturally most people are going to tell you drop MVP and get ASB. In fact, it is exactly what I am doing.

It comes down to what you want in the game. You want the best franchise mode around, get ASB. You want fun glitzy meters, stay with MVP.

Or hang onto MVP and rent ASB and decide.

Sorry if a little common sense stings so much.

They both look like good games that will appeal to different gamers. I say "look" because since ASB is only hitting the streets today, it's going to be even harder for posters here to decide which game you should buy.
