Gameplay - The gameplay is similar to last year but seems much more crisp. The fielders still croch after doing anything and It is still just a little bit slow but niether are gamekillers. In the game I played I had 3 swinging bunts, I dont know how often this happens but I hope not much more than 3x a game. I also took a perfect game into the 5th with Kerry Wood in my first time using broadcast view(AWSOME!) But Frank Thomas hit a 3 run homer to tie the game at 3 in the 6th. So far I was having a blast, I notice that ALOT of information scrolls across the top of teh screen such as pitch count, balls thrown, strikes thrown, bullpen status...IMO its not as "fancy" as MVP's cut scenes but I actually enjoy it better than skipping the bull pen scene every inning. I had fun playing a full 9 inning game which lasted about 45 Minutes(MVP games take me close to 30 mins). Some notes on my game, Sammy Hit my only Hr, Big Hurt hit there only HR. Corey Patterson was 3-4 with 2 swinging bunt singles. I had a hard time learning how to steal(I did not read manual yet, waiting for some bathroom time.)
Overall I give Gameplay 8.5/10 while I give MVP a 9/10
After typing that I really feel like starting my dynasty, some things I noticed were that You cant edit rosters PRE-DYNASTY this bothers me but i can manage with XBOX live. I also simmed one season by the way and there is no Progression failure and No Lefty glitch....I also find that Wes Mailman may be the best alter ego for Barry Bonds(MVP's being John Dowd). I give ASB a 9/10, and MVP a 8.5/10 because of sooooo many glitches.
Overall ASB>MVP....
Ps: I dont know weather i should sell my MVP on ebay for 30 + or just trade it in for 25....
