Right Analog Hitting??

I was wondering if anyone could give me their impressions on hitting with the right analog stick. This was a feature that really interested me when I first started hearing info about this game. Could someone explain how exactly it works, how timing affects the process, overall fun factor, etc.?

I gave it a shot. It works just like the analog swing in Tiger Woods- hold the stick down and then quickly press it up to swing the bat. It works fine and you can even check your swing if you release the stick before you reach the half-way point (or on accident if you do not push up with enough force).

All I can tell yo is it seems to work the way it is suppose to- it definetly makes hitting more harder because of having to make two independent motions with your hands. In fact I bet a lot of the Zone Hitting Homerun Festival talk would disappear if everyone tried zone hitting with the analog swing...

That is exactly what I was thinking. If I use zone, which I do right now about 50% still trying to decide which is better for me, I always use the right stick exclusively.

BTW I Love this game period. It is exactly what I wanted.

for some reason, i like it better and think that using the right trigger makes it EASIER to hit... why? i don't know. i seem to have better reaction time...
