"The non-members are represented by the union in bargaining and are eligible for pensions, but aren't allowed in union meetings and don't receive a share of the union's licensing income. In fact, their names and images can't be used on merchandise licensed by the MLBPA. A T-shirt celebrating Arizona's World Series victory last year included the reproduced signatures of all the Diamondbacks except catcher Damian Miller, who played in a single spring replacement game."
