How can I look at the rosters without starting a franchise?

I go to roster management in the extras menu and there's nothing there but edit and create a player. I want to see who's on the various teams.
No, I didn't draft Grossman on my fantasy team, what do you think I am an idiot?

when I clicked on edit, it just showed me about 10 free agents. How do you view the teams?

You either use the left and right triggers or left and right on the directional pad. Try that.
