    Mailman Park vs. The Mac

Anybody else out there starting an expansion team in Brooklyn or NJ? If so I am interested in which park you will be using.

I am starting a Brooklyn team and an torn between:

    1) Mailman Park- because of the kosher deli in CF , love the RF wall and the brick behind home, but it feels a bit like you are playing in a mall...

2)Whitaker Grounds -because it is like a slightly modernized version of Ebbets Field what with the double deck in the outfield and it has some Polo Grounds flavor with the overhang in the outfield, but I worry that it will play like Comerica National Park with few HRs- plus it is not the most exciting stadium around.

    3) The Mac- This is suppose to be Oakland but I swear the skyline in background could be Manhattan seen from the old navy yard in Brooklyn (isn't that tall build with the needle the Empire State Building?) The only problem with this park is the cheese factor involved with having a luxury apartment building be the dominate feature. And the horrible smell they talked about in the tour. Actually last time I played there I kept seeing little clouds of something floating by the batters between pitched. I thought maybe it was fog, but maybe it was stench! LOL if it is.

So help me out- which park seems to you guys think is more Brooklyn- or actually which would you like to see built in NYC if you had a choice,

By the way- stuff like this, and the fact that which you park tyou play in actually matters in ASB, is one of the reasons I like ASB so much.

    Peace
    Thanks for the advice.

I used to use Mailman park, but it is actually the Mets future stadium too.

Actually, since my team will be in same dividion as the Mets maybe I should skip Mailman- I would hate for the Mets to move in to their new stadium and have it be me old stadium...
          Thanks for the advice.

My favorites so far are Fisbach field and Kydd Memorial. Kydd has a bay just like San Fran.

I am using the MAC too since you can see the city of Wilmington in the background at our A team here. I have not played it yet since I am still in spring training. Is there any other effect from the smell.?
