I agree, 13Warner did nothing wrong... as for the other... "guy" for restraint purposes... he's an idiot...

That's my name calling for the year. If you post sarcastic, boyish posts, you deserve what you get.

If this forum is going to let people leave remarks like that and expect someone to not retaliate then its a forun I dont want to be a part of.

I guess ignoring immature posts, rather than perpetual flaming, is out of the question

To go back to your original post, I agree that it's bizarre how Earl Weaver (the best baseball simulator of all time, IMHO) gave you more flexibility than today's games. My only guess is that the developers don't think people are going to do the "far-out" things that some people here are trying to do. They just want people to play their exhibition games with default rosters, or start franchises.

In a way, I think console gaming has diluted the PC games down. Back when the best you could do on the NES was games like Bases Loaded, you could play Earl Weaver on PC (or Amiga, or whatever). While the console games have made steps forward, they've similarly dragged down PC gaming to its level, with the exception of PC-exclusive games like OOTP.

            That's....... not.......... good.

And I kinda wanted to trade in MVP so I can touch on ASB's robust franchise mode. Add to the fact that PS2's version keeps on getting pushed back, and ASB 05 probably ain't getting too much money from PS2 users.......
