    Tips for New ASB players?

Okay, I suck at ASB. My biggest weakness is being able to hit the ball. I almost always reach the double digits in Strikeouts. I am using the 2D Cursor and I thought it would be easy to hit with the cursor since I rocked in WSB2k3. Obviously, that is not the case. I'm using the "Classic" speed.

Do you guys have any batting tips?

I'm not too good at pitching either. I can't really paint the corners that well. Then again, I'm using Expansion pitchers so that might be the case. The thing is, the most Strikeouts that I've ever gotten is 2. o

    Help? Hehe...

im new too and im playing like this...

    all star
    timing
    strike zone
    hit aid
    auto fielding
    2004 fielding view
    auto def alignment

i think that about covers it...

dont forget to set up your player profile and load it every game when you play.. this way youw wont have to go into the game and change all the stuff around again.....

and most of all.. HAVE FUN!!!!! I KNOW I AM

I was using zone but I'm getting tired of hitting pop flys, line drives between 2nd and shortstop, etc. There's no hit variety with zone hitting. They said they fixed it. They lied.

Start with the slowest pitch speed. If that doesn't work, try the Timing option for a while.

Use the batter view when pitching. It's easier to locate the pitches because the strike zone is bigger. Also, click the right stick to view hot/cold spots. Use broadcast cam when you've mastered batter view.

Yes, you are right. They lied. With zone, all of your groundouts are to SS or 2b. No groundouts to 3rd or 1st. No foul balls. I don't understand how they could say they've improved this and made it the default. And using the right thumbstick doesn't make a difference too.
