    Need help with relief

Can someone give me some suggestions on warming up pitchers in the bullpin? It seems no matter what I do my MR come in with a quarter of their tank already empty and are lucky to squeeze out 15 decent pitches. One batter takes them deep in the count and I might as well throw in the towel. 20 pitches seem about max for my MR.

I know the on screen overlays sometimes show when guys are 'throwing' and when they are 'ready' but I see that more for the CPU team than my own team. I can never pick that moment when my MRs are ready (green).

Also what are the ramifacations of starting a pitcher throwing and then setting him back down? Does it tire him out more if you later start warming him up again? It does not seem to make the warm up process any faster from what I can tell because they still stay blue (cold?) for a while even if they were just up throwing.

I don't really have problems with starters going 90 pitches but if one gets rattled and I have to pull him in the 6th or so Im in for a long game. I don't think Ive seen any reliever worth a poop after a single inning. Maybe it has something to do with using the Cub?

one thing, when you go to the bullpen screen the pitchers will have what their current fatigue is (a,b,c,d etc.) . Try and use an "A" or "B" guy. some guys won't every get to a green if they are already fatigued.

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and put in a cold guy to get him some work. If you leave the guy in there long enough, he'll have enough in the tank to go a couple of batters.

You have to give your guys enough work, or they become rusty, which is manifested in the game as fatigue.

I'd like to see a way to have pitchers "throw on the side" if you haven't used them so this doesn't happen.
