    I need baserunning help!

How the hell do I advance each individual runner without affecting the other guy? Yesterday I had a man on first, and I hit the ball, so I wanted to keep one guy at first and move the other to 3rd base, so I hit the L Trig + X, and I ended up moving both runners which I didn't want. I can never move just one runner and keep the other still.

Also how do I lead off each individual runner? It doesn't mention anything in the booklet? Hopefully I have more options then leading everybody off the same amount?

ALso what are the controls for "classic" baserunning? The ASB booklet is terrible.

If by "classic" they mean from last year, you press Y or triangle (I think, I have XBOX) and press the d-pad/stick torwards the base your baserunner you want to advance is ON. So if you have a guy on second and you want him to advance to third, you press Y+up. Pressing B (circle?) and the base you want the guy to RETURN TO sends them back.

Pressing the left trigger advances everyone, while the right trigger sends them back. This could be why you're having problems.

I'll try that, the booklet is very confusing. It says to advance runner to 3rd, hit L Trig + X, but when that happens all runners on base advance not just the one player.

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">That is not classic mode that is normal mode and your doing it wrong.

In normal mode you use the L/R triggers to advance and return all runners. However, you also use the L/R trigger in combination with a base button to move a single runner. When doing this though you need to make sure you press and hold the face button FIRST and then hit the trigger. If you hit the trigger first you are telling the game to move ALL runners. It is messed up and I have no idea why they switched from CLASSIC.

In classic the L/R triggers only advance or return ALL runners. To move a single runner in classic mode you press Y (adv) or B (retreat) and tap the D-Pad in the direction of the base the running is coming from. This system works much better because it seperates the ALL vs Single runner options making it far harder to make a mistake and send ALL.

It's the other way around. Hold X and then press L trigger.

Classic controls: Hold Y and then press left on gamepad.
