Question to all ASB veterans !!...What "Fielding" option do you use ?

I have been a loyal ASB fan for 5 yrs now..and I need some feedback on the fielding I use

My friend says when I use "Assisted Fielding" that it`s not realistic and I can`t take pride in earning my wins because the computer makes the plays for me and it makes it unrealistic even though I can override the play when I feel necessary

Now I switched to "Maunual Fielding" and I love the full control most of the time but my hits allowed in a game have almost doubled and I honestly can`t make half the plays that the comp makes (especially diving for balls hit just fair down the lines)..Ya sometimes I make an amazing play that the COM would of never made but usually I blow routine plays which also makes it seem very unrealsitc..Not to mention the fielding plays using "Manual" seem very robotic & stiff and sometimes VERY unrealistic on replays

So tell me what "fielding" option do you guys use and which is better to use for an overall realitic game experience ???

Fielding is one of my favorite things to do in a baseball game, so I have it set on manual (with the classic view). But with that being said, I am considering going to assisted as I find fielding to be pretty frustrating in this game. The hard hit singles that go right past my outfielders to the wall top my list, not being able to get under a routing flyball would be second in line. I also find it hard to see the ball on slow infield dribblers. I think acclaim spent the majority of their time on the new Fielder game when it came to the defensive aspect of the sport.

What's the difference between 2204 view and classic? They look the same to me, or maybe I'm just dumb!

I find the camera is too low to the horizon, which makes it difficult for me to get under fly balls sometimes...

I also find it frustrating when the camera doesn't show your fielder, and I end up taking him the wrong way until I see the blue arrow pointing towards the guy I'm controlling! But by then it's a double for sure....

All I can say of Feilding is this:

Just Take your Time to learn it, because it is damned well worth it.

Every time I'm lucky enough to pull off an amazing stunt myself (recently did a complete 360 toss to first on a groundout with Khalil Greene, don't worry this obviously doesn't happen every game) I'm left speechless. The way you should feel when a play like that is made, it should leave you speechless as Thom and the gang say. As you learn to use the feilding even more, it will make the game that much more fun and realistic. I'm speaking from experience here. The only way to learn is to go in it head on, remember the mistakes you made, and try not to do them again. It's not that hard really, in the beginning I used to get to the circle and wait for a ball to drop, not realizing that the position I was in was not a decent position to catch it in, The ball would pretty much drop at my feet and roll to the wall. That would happen to me like 10 times in a game....now it only happens once or twice if the other team is lucky. as for the Cams and such, just find one that suits your level of gameplay. This isn't about who can press buttons faster, it's about playing a fun realistic game of Baseball and laughing at all the silly things the announcers go off in tangent about!

Ok so one likes Manual fielding, but is considering switching to Assisted

One never answered the topic question..LOL

And one says I should keep trying at Manual because it`s rewarding

                            Thanks for the input

So far there is no clear winner...Keep the opinions coming
