    Baserunning/stealing controls...

What are they. I read the manual but I don't understand them.

Normal baserunning - Hold the button of the base your runner is on (B = 1b, Y = 2b, X = 3b) and press Left trigger to advance, Right trigger to retreat,.

Classic baserunning - Hold Y, and press the base you are coming from on the gamepad (right = 1b, up = 2b, left = 3b). To retreat Hold B and press same buttons.

just so everyone knows, I'm not quite sure if everyone understands how to have the best success with baserunning or not, it's all about timing. It's just like playing slots or something like that, you press when you feel lucky, anything after or before the sweet spot and you're busted. So when is the sweet spot?

The second the pitcher goes into their windup. Haven't tried it on pitchers that take a longer time to wind up, but I'll let you know. So far I've had the most success this way. Still don't make it sometimes. It's hard, and if you're playing against a catcher that REALLY has an arm....just forget it....the chance doesn't even exist!

You have to watch the windup. Sometimes a pitcher uses a leg kick, sometimes he uses a slide step. If he uses slide step, you're only hope is that you have an A-rated basestealer AND the pitch is off speed. Awesome.
