I was taking offers for John Smoltz. He started out the season great but has blown 6 saves in the last month. Anyway, the first trade I tried to do it said "Smoltz is taking advantage of his 10 and 5 experience and rejects the trade. "

If there's one thing ASB nails, it's the nuts and bolts of the management aspect of a franchise.

This is just one of the MANY reasons I look the other way at some of the quirky things in this game.
MVP may have the flash...but it get's old quick. ASB has the substance. No doubt. I understand how some guys get frustrated with ASB....but to me I want to build dynasties(or failures if that is the case) and any game that does not have a correctly working franchise loses MAJOR points in my book. I loved the HH series...but I could only play one season at a time....the career mode was horrible. HH2004 was the worst of the bunch in that respect....even though it had the best gameplay of any of the series...but after playing ASB...somebody is going to have to do a better franchise to get my gaming time.
