Mr. Jim416. I am a longtime board reader, infrequent poster. I have followed your posts for the last couple of years. I really believe you are the most logical, true baseball fan/gamer on the boards. Last year, your posts led me to buy ASB 2004, and I enjoyed the game. I even tried ESPN, though I didn't like it as much. It was good to see you back around this year. My question for you is this: What is the game of your choice this year? It seems ASB is really no different, MVP is getting mixed reviews, and who is to believe with MLB. I ask you this because we seem to have identical views on the games, and I respect your opinion. If you could drop me your thoughts, that would be great.

ASB....I'm playing it right now because I have total control over the rosters and that is important to me. I understand how guys can love franchises/trading players, etc., but that's not for me. Single season type and accurate rosters. ASB is full of bugs. It also does somethings really nicely. Do the bugs kill the game? No. Should Acclaim have caught them? Yes.

MVP.....Really fun. I have the PC version. But, there's a roster problem. You will not be able to keep your rosters current in dynasty mode. If they pull off a Griffey for some scrub later in the year you will mess up the other teams roster forcing a trade. I've tried it (FAIR TRADES turned off). If they get the MVP editor fixed so you can manipulate the season save file I'd probably play that one on the PC because of modding and all.

MLB...Great playing litte game, but again, you can't edit rosters before the season and during season you can't turn off the trade rejection option, so it won't let you make a lot of trades.

If you would have just made it a general comment he wouldn't have said anything. But being it was addressed to me he had to say something.

We could actually handle all these things through PMs, I guess. If you would have just made a general comment about which game was better he wouldn't have said a thing.
