    Injuries lasting Longer than Expected?

Ok I am having a problem with injuries.

A couple of my guys got banged up and it would list a date they would be back. Sometimes it would just be a week or so so I would not put them on the DL.

Well before every new game it tells me that, for example, Nomar Garciaparra will be out untill...and it adds days to it every single day. How do you fix this? Are you supposed to do something with the players for every injury? Foulke was supposed to be out for 4 days and his injury has just kept going on and it keeps adding days and its been like 10 games.

Anyone understand this or know how to fix it? I don't use the players that are injured

I'm fairly sure if you put him on the 15 day DL he'll come back when he's supposed to. At least this happened for me once. I had a guy out for like 10 days, and though it was the 15-day DL he came back in ten. I dunno....try it out...

Yes, but if you put him on the 15 day DL, you cannot activate him again until his 15 day stint is up.

Maybe one thing to watch for is that your injured guy isn't getting played in any games, simmed or otherwise. It looks like some injuries you can play through, which would probably lengthen the healing time. I know I had Brian Schneider with a concussion, yet I could still put him into my line up.
