Re: For those who have played for a week may I ask...

    Favorites:
    - Stadiums are VERY detailed.
    - Different hitting options/pitch speeds.
    - Franchise mode is fantastic.
    - I love the broadcast cam when I'm pitching

    Least Favorites:
    - Stolen bases (I use assisted fielding and the CPU cannot steal a base on me). Also, I use 2d cursor hitting so when I send a runner from first, the cursor moves towards first base before the pitch so I have to bring it back to hit.
    - Lack of walks
    - Assisted Fielding. Would like to have an option where the CPU will field the ball, but I have to throw it. Sometimes the CPU has already decided where the ball will be thrown before I have a chance to tell it where to throw.

The animation "glitches" (the crouch, vaccuum catches, etc) don't bother me that much. I use classic baserunning because I am used to it, so I don't have too many issues with it. But if these were to be "cleaned up", I wouldn't mind either...
    MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
    NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
    NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins
    NBA: Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic
NCAA: Penn State Nittany Lions, Boston College Eagles

Re: For those who have played for a week may I ask...

      Love:

New batting stances and pitching motions(Soriano and Willis and Hudson, wow).
Stadiums look even better this year
      BTP view is great
      Future stadiums

      Dislike:

Vaccum fielding and hunched over post-play fielders
Finally, WHAT IS UP WITH OUT-OF-FRANCHISE ROSTER MANAGEMENT??? I honestly cannot believe it's so bad, and actually gotten worse since last year when we were led to believe in other preview threads that roster management as a whole had improved. I look at all the other games this year, and you can do trades, sign free agents, set lineups and rotations, etc, all outside of franchise. But not your game. Heck, it's so bad that I can't even set the opponents lineup, starting pitcher or even pick their jersey before an exhibition game! I like playing franchise, but I usually like to play exhibition as well just to get a feel of the different teams when the games "don't matter". I know it's been brought up before and people will think this is just whining, but it's flat-out inexcusible that this was omitted in such a terrible way, especially when you look what the competition is doing.

                  1) Favorite thing(s) Beautiful Stadiums , I don't think I ever seen the type of detail in stadiums you guys put in. DEEP franchise mode. Spring Training! It is a lot of fun trying to get those goals, I find myself cursing when I get knocked around in spring training because it is hurting my goals . Custom Music (would like 3 more seconds for walk up music and reliver's).

                  2) Least Favorite Thing(s), Lack of roster management outside franchise mode. Baserunning is difficult to control with the set up you guys implemented or lets say not very responsive.Longer Franchise Mode atleast 40 Years. Lots of people like to Sim

                  Overall,

I think this is a solid effort by ASB Team.

My favorite thing in the game is the level of detail...stadiums, rules of the game (rule 5 draft, arbitration, etc.), and franchise.

My least favorite thing is the roster set-up. Please include the ability to load/edit rosters rosters from it's own seperate screen, so that a player can devise/update/edit the entire MLB roster before starting a franchise.

                        Great game.

When you get to the team select screen, if you choose the opponent first, you can set their lineups, pick uniforms and then back out to the team select screen, the changes you make will remain in place for that other team.
