    Re: High Heat 2004 PC

This is really bugging me. I know I had that editor at some point because I still have the rosters I made. I'll keep searching this weekend. Was it names dangerz? Maybe it got moved into a different folder by mistake (I hope).

Thanks for looking, the folder I believe was labeled "HH2K2Edit".

        Re: High Heat 2004 PC

Guys, I'm in an active 2003 sim league. I'll ask around. One of the GMs may have the 2002 editor.

In the meantime, we're in need of 2 GMs and would welcome anyone, but especially HH vets. The website is amazing, 3 weekly live sims (an in-season month per week). Started in 2002 season, now in 2089! Historical stats, fictional players, teams can be moved to any minor league / Indy league team past and present. Please give it a look!

I'll get back to you on the editor for 2002.

          Re: High Heat 2004 PC

The guy who runs the MLBC sim league had the file:

          Here ya go!

Now do yourself a favor and check out our sim league. You don't know the fun you're missing! (for free!)

Anyone who knows anything about HH would be right at home. It's not over-complicated like OOTP, but there are contracts, team funding, and the website. I tried for years to get a friend of mine to try it, and now that he's in, he's hooked. He now knows why I spoke so highly of it in the first place.

At this point there are a few open teams, so it's your chance to give it a go. If you don't like it after a season, it's no biggie!

Plus, there's a team in my division that is quite good right now that is one of the two unowned teams. Move right in and contend, or blow it up and rebuild!

Am I coming off pushy enough??

CHECK OUT THE LEAGUE! You won't regret it. Message me here if you're interested. Or find the join link on the site.

This is fantastic, I appreciate it very much. I'm looking over the sim league and I have to admit I've been watching you all for a while. Very cool. I'm thinking about it

I didn't join at first b/c I thought it was going to be too complicated. There's a little learning curve, but it's not nearly as complicated as it looks. You don't even need the game itself, you can use HHManager to set your lineups. I like using the game though because I still love that HH interface

There are sims M, W, and F, but you don't even have to be there. They are about 45 minutes usually, and you can make lineup changes during the sims if you want by asking the simmer. I sim Wednesdays. I also keep the player pics updated by raiding pictures from minor league websites And changing their hats when they get traded away. Free agent season is a grind!

It's also been going so long b/c the commish is cool. He's just one of the other teams. It's not a situation where he's like the boss or anything. The only difference is that he does a crap ton of work to update the site and keep it going.

Now is a great time to join because we just finished the season. Playoffs will be simmed Wednesday (not by me because I made it this year!). If you got in by Friday, you could decide which players' contracts to extend and which to let go to FA. Salaries are hard to gauge at first (who's worth what?), but I'd be more than happy to help you. For that matter, most guys in the league would, too.

Then we have a week long FA period. You can bid on anyone you want once per day. If you have the high bid for 2 days straight, you get the guy. There's a programmed formula that determines a guy's preference for salary. For example, a 35 year old may prefer a longer deal with lower per-year salary whereas a younger guy is more apt to jump on the high money per year deal knowing that he has years left to cash in with other deals.

Hope I'm not overwhelming you with info. It's just a blast and it's always better to have ALL teams filled, and it's a bummer that we actually have 2 open teams for the first time in a long while.

Also, one open team right now is quite good. With someone running it, they probably would have beaten out with me for the playoffs in my division.

Oh, and you can choose to move your team anywhere during the offseason (as long as it's in the east if you're east division, etc.). Commish redoes the logos for the site and I re-do the hats. Just has to be a minor league team or from some indy league. Mine is the Bangor Blue Ox, a team that only existed for like 2 years in an indy league in the northeast. If there are logos to find, you're good to go.

For a guy who still does HH rosters, I can't believe I can never get any interest from you Greenhell

Give MLBC a go, you'll wonder why it took you so long to join!

Well lack of free time is kinda why I can barely make the roster set these days and have no spare time even for uniforms, stadiums, schedule etc
But I bookmarked the site and maybe somewhere late in the summer i'll give it a shot.

                      Re: High Heat 2004 PC

I understand that. . There's a learning curve at first, but in-season, which is 7 real weeks long, you just need time to download the file, make any adjustments, and submit a file. 5 minutes every other day!

All the other stuff is for extra time as it comes up, which basically is just trade negotiations or planning ahead for your team. Then there's the 2-week off-season to bid on FAs and do a draft file, but it's less and less time consuming as you learn the ropes.

Anyway, be glad to have you any time you want to join! It's offseason now, so it's a good time to join. Or if you wanted to wait until the offseason work is done for an open team, that would give you 7 weeks of just submitting a roster 3 times/week to learn the system.

It'd be especially great for someone who knows HH to join, but of course that's not even required. Many guys don't even have the game. Just use HHManager and DangerZ to manage rosters.

Hi guys, sorry for being away for some time.
Got 2018 roster almost ready. Just waiting for these late FA signings.
So I'll upload another version in mid-to-end march somewhere.
In this version all states form last year are imported (all player states are from last 3 years 15-16-17), all photos are corrected except Lucroy and Lynn, and all lineups and rotations are ready. Schedule is old from 2015 season.
