Will there be an ASB 05 review?

This might have been answered in another thread. If so, a link or reiteration of the answer would be much appreciated. I'd like a trustworthy opinion about the game to compare with my own.

Give them a little time. They put out the MVP review on day one and that review, for a lot of people, ended up being more than a little shallow. Perhaps they don't want the same backlash again.

My only concern is they will be very thurough with the remaining baseball reviews making sure to highlight all of the good and bad, which is not a bad thing in inself, but it is a bit lopsided in comparison to the MVP review.

I would like to see a baseball roundup or head to head further down the road, once they have had time to digest all of the games. It would be nice to see their comparison on how each game stacks up to the others in various catergories.

give them time. they're doing exactly what they should be doing. they're taking their time to play the game. this bodes VERY well for asb. in fact a gaming review site that actually takes the time to fully understand each game would have that as a bragging rite, and it would set them apart from the other sites out there. of course you can only go so far with that since people do wait for these reviews. but the speed and conviction of that mvp review IN MY OPINION was pretty funny, having played the game. if it were me i would get away from the number rankings and focus more on
A)letting people know what kind of game the company was trying to bring you (simulation style/ arcade style)
B)how well they acomplish this goal (gameplay)
C)gamekilling bugs or flaws. WARN people about these things (remember all the triple play rave reviews, lol) this is what we need you for.
D) the basics graphics and options.
if you know how to play sports games 2 weeks of solid play is long enough to gather all this information.

what i'm saying is you gotta know your audience. around here you need in depth sections on
1.franchise play,
2.online play,
3.roster management (is it easy to create teams/players or is it a chore?),
4.bugs/glitches,
5.what are they trying to bring you and how smoothly did they bring it to you.

and most of these things are zero sum catagories, it works or it doesn't. not "mvp's gameplay is a 88/100 but asb is a 73/100 so mvp is a better game, even though we just pulled those numbers out of our ***."

but what do i know...

There is no conspiracy. We're way too stupid and lazy to coordinate something like that.

It will be a different reviewer, so any comparisions will be pretty useless. "OS" doesn't review things. Different people on staff do, each with their own opinion.

If you want to have fun imagining some conspiracy between OS, EA, the Illuminati, and MAJESTIC-12 ... go right ahead. But it couldn't be further from the truth.
