ASB has the Best and Worst HR Scenes

Of all the baseball games I have ever played, ASB05 has the best and worst HR scenes of the bunch. The cutscenes are weak, and the ball cam is comical. But that doesn't really matter, because if you set the HR Cutscenes to None, you will be treated to the best HR experience in town. There is nothing cooler than blasting a shot, and watching it with the 2004 cam as it bounces of empty seats, ricocets off the upperdeck or bounces through a parking lot. Awesome.

I only wish they could make it a little more suspenseful between HR's and deep balls that land in the park. The circle for the fielder or star on the wall kind of give it away.

Awesome. Im glad to hear the cutscene can be turned off. I hated having most of the homeruns having cutscenes. I just wanted to see the collision detection with the normal gameplay camera. I remember asking asb_man if he could insert an option to tun off the cutscene, and I guess he did. That is so cool. Thanks asb_man.

What makes you say that? I'm actually looking forward to seeing the star players do their signature homerun celebrations after they hit a long ball. I don't really care about seeing the ball bounce off walls & so forth. Still have another weeks wait for the PS2 version.
