                  Teeds,

I've been editing fake players. I have found that if I search other teams minor leagues I'll find the batting/throwing hand match I want. I then just trade that player over to the team that needs the edited player.

Well, that's certainly easy to do. Not a pain at all. Did Acclaim suggest this in the directions? (dripping with sarcasm).

Simple fact: All of the information I've read regarding the complete lack of roster accessibility OUTSIDE of the franchise means I will not be purchasing this game. I loved last year's ASB, but was upset with the roster editing abilities then. So, when I read that they only made it worse, that's enough for me.

I'm sure that Acclaim has a development methodology, so the only excuse for crappy roster editing is that they chose to leave out the full functionality that other sports games offer. I just want to know why?

Jim416, that is a unique idea you have but should we really have to go to that length? The process should be a whole lot simpler.

And like bobcatgrad, I want to know why editing bat-throwing hand/trading/signing players in exhibition mode is not an option.
