I played about a fourth of the spring training games and at the end it took me to a screen to add points to their attributes. I'd suggest to everyone that they experiment and find out for themselves. It won't take that long.

Also, be wary of editing your players. Apparently the things you can't edit, like health and pitcher effectiveness take a nose-dive when you do.
