    Smart Counts

Is anyone using this feature? I think it's pretty realistic, makes each game different. One day, you get a lot of 1-2, 0-2 counts, and others you start with 3-1 counts (leads to a lot of walks and meatballs that will get jacked).

You also get quite a bit of walks (if your pitchers are off) on both sides of the ball.

Just wanted to see if anyone else is using this??

    I'm using the stupid counts.

Sorry, had to do it. I don't use any generated counts, but I might try it out.

This is the first time I've used them, but I like 'em. Games are shorter, pitch counts are higher, just seems pretty good.

BTW...on occasion I would agree with the stupid count comment

Yeah, I have been using smart counts. 2 nights ago Maddux pitched a perfect game against me with smart counts turned on. I could'nt believe it...he was ahead 1-2 almost every single at bat, and he would throw nasty sliders and curves that I had no chance of making good contact on. First time I've been no-hit.

what are the smart counts based on?? How does it differ from random counts?

Smart counts take your pitcher's skill level and fatigue into account. Random count is basially a random count generated from the database of pitch counts.
