    Why would it make a difference whether the ball made contact with the bat or not. This isn't real life is it ? This is a computer game, and the cpu has to calculate and generate the shot you made based on your timing with the ball, angle of your bat, etc. if that sounds scripted then it's what every computer game does in terms of mathematics and physics.

        Bottom line is when it's obvious the ball doesn't touch the bat it takes away from the game, period. Does that mean the game is no good? Of course not. But lets not sugar coat the minuses of the game.
        In any case I don't feel the game is scripted at all. It's just some of the animations/collisions need some work

                    mmmmm...Sugar coated minuses....
                    It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.
