So Miss, slow the pitch speed down and you'll hit a lot less HRs with zone. I've tested it and it works for me.

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">That's the problem, I don't like the slow pitch speeds. On fast, my fastball are topping out at 85. Well through likw 13 games, Kornerko leads the team with 4 or 5 hrs. It's not that bad.

I don't mind the homers, its just that it seems impossible to crack one down the lines on zone hitting. Everything is up the middle, double in the gaps, fly balls to center and grounders to short and second.

Like I say, how is the zone hitting in last years game?

Unfortunately this was a major problem with zone hitting last year.

I figured Acclaim would address these issues with zone hitting this year, especially since they've made it the default batting interface.
