Slowest guy you Stole with?

Stealing a base in ASB05 is obviously alot harder than it was in years past. How good are you at getting those SBs? Who's the slowest guy you've stolen with, and on what pitcher?

I stole with Phil Nevin on a rookie Pitcher. It's not like it's going to happen every day, but the kid had THE slowest delivery and didn't care that Nevin was 5 feet off first base....too bad...It'll prolly be the only base he steals all season.

I was playing the other expansion team that it creates. It kindof annoyed me, mostly cause I chose DC park for my Washington Admirals and they went and took....guess who! DRUBEL COUNTY!

But anyways, if you see a crappy catcher and a pitcher with a slow delivery, and you're really good at timing your swiping, you could steal with Sammy Sosa.

Still haven't stole a base yet. I have only tried w/ my better basestealers (Roberts, Hairston, Matos), and every time I try I'm only about half way down to second when the catcher throws so I have to retreat.

You have to steal on pitchers with slow deliveries, WHEN THEY MAKE the slow delivery. When it happens you have a split second to press L+base to steal or else you're out. I'm getting really good at it, I stole with PAT BURRELL in my last game, and I've updated from All-Star to HOF level.

EDIT: I should mention that the team I'm stealing all these bases off of is the equivelant of the Pirates on Crack, Greg Zaun as they're main Catcher and Nate Cornejo as their Ace. I have to say this is actually the one thing about ASB I don't like. The way they draft poorly for the opponent team when you make an Expansion team.

ive had very little success stealing myself....but, in all fairness, im still focused mainly on improving my hitting, and havent really begun to mess with that yet.....that experiment is next on the list, though

I got ya there,wawasman! I don't think I have tried to steal once! Trying to master the 3d cursor and am failing miserably...Actually,i noticed once in awhile the comp catcher will pick my guy off first even though i did not make him lead off first? oh well...curious ...what part of the city you from? And if that's your age under your name..I got ya by 1!
