I don't have a problem fielding the ball. This is my first year using pre-throws(both in MVP and ASB), and no issues when throwing the ball.

I see hits all over the place, but then again i don't really sit there and keep tabs on what pitch goes where.

Perhaps i am not good enough to hit the ball to a specific location but i dont see constant hits to one location. Base hits come just like i have seen them on tv.

I shyed away from zone batting because everyone was mentioning hitting too many homers, i figured this was a good excuse to try cursor hitting, and i am enjoying it quite well. Cursor pitching to me was difficult with WSB2k3 last year, so i was glad to see that it works well ( even though i have always been a strong opponent against). I did notice that i wasnt hitting foul balls with zone hitting; i noticed AFTER i started playing with 2d and 3d cursors. I didnt realize that they werent happening with ZONE.

Through 23 games, Beckett and Pavano have gone the distance. Playing on all-star level, no aids.

We will have to agree to disagree, but to call the game a 'mess' is not right, else others would not be enjoying it. It has the basics down, it has its share of bugs, and i have fun. I normally don't have fun with messes.

As a long time High Heat player I have to say the absolute best replacement would be ASBs depth with MVPs physics based hitting system. The hit variety is just not as good with ASB when using anything other than the cursors-which is obviously the way the game is meant to be played IMO. Barring this fantasy, the best replacement for me is ESPN, especially with cursorless batting this year. It looks kinda crappy too, so a HH player will feel right at home.

To me the reset count bug is minimal. The third out bug is not fully reproducable yet, check the glitch thread. That might bother me a bit more if it turns out to be very prominent. But hey, remember the Wrigley pop-up bug in HH? That could be a game killer if you;re a cubs fan.
