R.B.I Baseball 14 What is it? Arcade or Sim? Can it be a contender?

Well R.B.I 14 was announced a couple days ago and we have no clue if its an arcade game or a simulation game a lot of people have said its an arcade game and others have said its a simulation. The logo does give the feeling that it might be an arcade title and some of its history back in the day but I don't believe anything until we at least get more information from the development team. Do you guys think it can challenge The Show series or will it be like the 2K Series or something else entirely.

My guess is a sim. I say this because the MLB is sodesperate to have their sport showcased to as many people as possible that they paid 2k to make a roster update and are now developing their own game. I would think they would want the truest representation possible. There is also the alfonso soriano video.

Id say this game has potential consider the MLB itself is funding it and they have a ton if money

how about can it be an in between sim/arcade game?

i hope thats the case.

im hoping its a polished HD graphics 2d style game. old school feel with a fresh look, where we can play through a full 9 inning game in say 20 to 25 mins. play through multiple seasons (say up to 5 to 10) and just have fun. you know, what gaming is suppose to be? LOL. crosses fingers.
