Please Clear up PS2m and Xbox online Rosters
To get updated rosters online for Xbox do I have to go through Xbox Live 1st like a middle man? Is there no way to get straight to Acclaim?

Re: Please Clear up PS2m and Xbox online Rosters
With the PS2 all you need is the $40 network adaptor and high speed access to get online. PS2 has no other subscription fees built into their network unless a publisher adds it themself.
With Xbox you need the $50 subscription to Live. Live is a closed network so without subscribing you won't get any downloadable content for you MS games. However, for your subscription fee you get a much better online interface/experience on the Xbox (IMHO). But as for your quetion - no, if you don't subscribe to Xbox Live then no, you cannot get any official roasters updates.
For $30-40 you can buy Action Replay for the Xbox and download user created rosters (not official ones) on your PC and save them to the Action Replay memory card for use in your Xbox.Comment
