I'm sick and tired of MVP. I play as the brewers, so every little run counts. But that isn't possible when I get my bloop singles robbed by 40 year old scrubs 5 times a game. Or how I haven't homered with a lefty through 8 games of my dynasty. What about the lack of zone hitting. No cpu steals. Basically all of these problems justify a trade-in. I'm jujust wondering what's wrong with high heat? TThe game seems realistic, I'm not interested in the technical shortcomings of the game.

Maybe 20% of playtime was allocated to DM if you are trying to imply what I think you are implying.

I thought the same thing. But before you go back to HH please try these. I went back to HH for two games and then came back to MVP. It jsut takes time to get used to hitting.
1). pitch speed is really important for lefty home runs. if you set it at -10 then you should have power set to 12 for user.. you can also edit your players for extra power when batting left handed.
2). look for the outside pitch. the cpu loves pitching outside so you should push out with the stick. then after a few hits the cpu will change and come inside. this is when you can get the HRs. if you keep trying to pull an outside pitch you will also pop up.
3). change cpu if and OF speed. i have set both at -20. if you are still getting too many dives for superhuman catches then go even lower. especially until you start hitting you may want to do this.
4). up errors for both teams. this way when the cpu dives it will drop a few depending on the rating of the player. however, i did have manny ramirez make a diving catch yesterday and then trot nixon had one bounce off his glove.
5). you can edit cpu players that steal to luis castillo. he steals all of the time. if they have speed of 90 and steal tendancy high you will get steals. but not many.
6). mvp does have zone hitting in a way. inside is inside and outside is outside. but if you swing early on an outside pitch and you push the stick out what should happen? in mvp you pull the ball because you did not time it well. in reall baseball you still must time the ball. watch the video in the game.
