PS2 version instead of Xbox, help please

I want to trade my Xbox version for a PS2 version because I like the PS2 controller better and I don't like having to use Xbox Live as a middleman just to get roster updates.

Other than losing Xbox Live, will I be losing anything else by going to the PS2?

P.S. Thanks to the poster who answered my question about the online differences between the consoles

So, I'm guessing the XBox graphics are better. I've been considering buying an XBox for the longest just to play this game. My boy(friend), has an XBox so I'll probably rent it to judge the graphics difference between the PS2. If I like what I see I'll go out and buy an XBox and ABS2k5 for it and trade in my PS2 copy/sell it to my friend.
Coming is my style, but I have to go.

I play sports games for the most part. I purchased the xbox for that purpose alone. The xbox supports higher quality graphics than does the ps2. Most of the games; at least on the xbox says what graphics resolution the game is running somewhere on the box. All of the major sports games titles (EA Sports - NCAA Football, Madden, March Madness, MVP Baseball, ASB, NBA Live,) are supported on xbox w/ much better graphics and the same gameplay other than getting use to the controller. The are not as many games in total (non-sports) available for the xbox, if thats what you play the most. Personally, I like the xbox better b/c I enjoy the greater detail on the stadiums, uni's, and backgrounds) Hope this helps.
