    Injuries----Disabled List

Hopefully you guys can help me out on this--
I only sim games and do all the GM stuff in a Franchise. Here is my dilemma: While simming I had a player get hurt and the box pops up on the screen saying "Jim Edmonds will be out with a pulled hamstring until June 1st" and the only option that it gives me is to press the "O" button (PS2) to have the injury taken care of automatically----but in last years version I had the option to either "View" it by hitting the X button and taking care of it myself or using the "O" button to have it done automatically. I use the complete mode for franchise so I can do all of this stuff myself but it doesn't make much sense if the only option I have is to have the program do it for me.
    Anybody got any suggestions?

    Thanks

If it's a day-to-day injury, the auto button won't place the player on the injured list. That much I know.

Ok---I answered it through a phone call to customer help and they took it out of the game this year----which doesn't make much sense if I wanted to have complete control of who I brought up and sent down to the minors when an injury happened---

I usually just hit B on the Xbox, and then go to my lineup screens and do it myself. Take the player out of the lineup and leave them on the bench if they are only out for a few days.

The injury box pops up after every game, which I thought was annoying, until I realized that the return dates were changing. Cool feature..... super healind sometimes!

I agree. It doesn't make sense not to include a stop button for simming. It should be a mandatory sort of thing when you have a simming option.

I think if you have an injured man not on the DL is when you get the warning screen when simming. The only option on the Xbox is (B)-Auto, but it seems to only take him out of the line for for that game from all I can tell.

However, the more annoying thing is when guys get off the DL. If you had bumped up a AAA guy to fill your roster and put someone on the DL and then miss the date he comes off the DL and sim through it you get a similar warning with the only option being (B)-Auto. This time the AUTO only option is much more damaging as it will kick one of your guys to the AAA leagues to put the guy returning from the DL back in the active roster. You get no choice of who it kicks to AAA and if you brought up a couple guys with no more options this can be a problem. It also doens't tell you who it moved so you just have to look through the roster screen and figure it out.

Acclaim really needs to have option for AUTO or MANUAL for any transaction that occurs.
