    Points to Dollars Conversion

Anyone figure out how much one point is worth? Just curious to see how close salaries are to real life.

i know that in MVP, if u multiply all of the points by 3000, each salary is pretty much accurate (ex. 100 points = 300,000 dollars)

how did you come up with your math??? i was told that in asb that each bp = $300,000 but that makes no sense because if htat is the case that evern rookies are making 1.8 mil a season. because they are making no less than 6 BP's per yer. ive asked everyone that has worked on asb and no one will give me an answer... grrrrrr

                1-6 points = $75,000 per point

                6-10 points = $150,000 per point

                10-25 points = $350,000 per point

                25-50 points = $550,000 per point

That works for me. paying 50 points per year would be paying $27.5 mil a year, paying 22 points a year would be paying $7.7 mil, paying 9 points a year would be paying $1.35 mil a year, and paying 6 of course would be $450,000. Make sense? Man, I had to revise that alot to make it work even better, but now that it's done I'm glad I did. It looks like real payments. Rookies get paid a max of $450,000, some of the better relief pitchers ate making around 1-1.5 mil, some ofn the better starters are making 7 mil, and the power hitters like Arod are making $25 mil.

                KING ME!

Stoud you rock.... totaly... that is awesome AND IT WORKS... lol... wow thank you soooo much ...but you have to adjust the numbers.. to 1-6, 7-10,11-25-26-50 beacause you cant have a high number be a low number in next set. see what i mean but i could be wrong you did hte math so you are prbabbly right... maybe it is a little high though cause.. if a player is looking for a 33 bp per yr deal he is asking for 15.15 mil per yr... that seems a little bit much.. or is it just me...???
