Does Joe Montana Football change anything? It shows that Microsoft is committed to winning the console war with exclusives, and the fact that they've kept it under wraps this long makes me hopeful.

Am I wrong or isn't the reason Joe Montana Football won't be on playstation is because of the NFL/Madden exclusive? And JMF couldn't be on playstation even if it wanted to? And with Madden on Xbox, the real exclusive is the only NFL game on playstation is Madden?

This just made me chuckle, especially with the grammatical error.

It was different last year with 2k13 because people bought the xbox knowing there was a baseball game on it already with 2k but now being a new console people simply can opt for the ps4 and the show if they want MLB baseball. I mean it's not as if MLB has some sort of investment in Microsoft.
Xbox obsolete in a year or two? Not a chance.

I wonder if SOE since they were sold and now had a name change for that studio, will now develop a game like mlb the show for Xbox?

I think it would better off to hope for Microsoft to buy Pro Yakyuu Spirits from Konami. No Sony game will ever see the light of day on the Xbox.

I can't post a topic but I was wondering what the best MLB game to get for my Xbox 360 is? I'm trying to get into the game, learn more about it and the players.

Get MLB 2k13. There are a couple of guys working on updating the rosters for that game. Certainly not as pretty as The Show but the game is a helluva lot of fun.

The "cost factor" was never "money" but the cost of which games i could not live without, baseball being one of them.

In the end..i weighed the differences..PS4 more powerful, PS4 more developer-friendly hardware, PS4 better first party studios, PS4 cheaper, PS4 has the best baseball game on this earth and MLB The Show on PS4 is going to knock the socks off people soon. Again..the "cost factor"....i jumped shipped ..i did the math ahead of time knowing Xbox One was not going to have a good baseball game for atleast the first few years...takes time to make a solid franchise....so while i was once a loyal xbox gamer..i am now back with Sony and PS console and you know what? Im glad i made this move..after weighing the "cost factor" .

MLB The Show will never be on its competitor's system....there must be things kept for competition for each manufacture...MS has their ACEs and Sony has theirs....Sony's various studios are superior imho

I bought a PS4 to have my baseball fix. Sad that a next generation console doesn't have a AAA baseball game.

I'm thinking about getting a Next Gen Console this year (PS4 or Xone). I don't need a baseball game right away, but would want one in a couple of years. I would think there would be one for the Xone by then (do you guys)? I don't want to choose a system just for 1 game.

I've always been an Xbox guy, but when the new systems were announced I said I would switch to Sony after Xbox tried to make all those dumb changes (like having to always be online and no used games, before backtracking due to the backlash they got…)

I like the feel of the xbox controllers (do PS4 controllers feel normal after a while?) and am comfortable with their system, which I mostly use just for games. But like I said I was planning on getting a PS4 and just want to make the right decision.

I mostly play sports games (NBA 2K being my favorite game, and then Madden) and usually get some racing game. Other than that I play Mario games on my Wii U. I don't play online against others (just use it to download updates and rosters and stuff like that). Are there any extra fees for either system on things?

So which system would you suggest from someone that has maybe owned each system (not looking for responses from fanboys of a system)?
