Re: Future of Baseball on the xbox?
With the announcement of backwards compatibility on One now (or when the update goes public AND more games are supported) I was assuming they'd make MLB 2k13 (or all of them) on that list so help fill the void of no baseball options.
I went on the Xbox.com website to vote for games that should be included in the list of backwards compatible games and when you search for MLB 2k anything, nothing comes up.
Like the series never existed. I still have my 360 so whatever, but it is almost as if Microsoft erased the existance of the 2k series. Which, isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Try 2k13 with JMC and MKharsh33 rosters. Plays great.
Guess the future of baseball on Xbox is that there is no future of baseball on Xbox.Comment

I heard lots of backward compatibility will depend on the publisher. In other words, good luck ever playing 2k on the Xbox one.Comment

The "cost factor" was never "money" but the cost of which games i could not live without, baseball being one of them.Comment

Re: Future of Baseball on the xbox?
I'm still happy I bought a X1, especially after E3.
Better Exclusives, better controller, and continuing to innovate.
That being said, I really really really would like a baseball game. OOTP is kind of getting boring after playing 70% of games of a 12 year dynasty.
I tried firing up MVP with mods, but I've played the death out of that game.
RBI won't do it. I really wish someone would step up.
I've never understood why EA choose to challenge 2k for the NBA but no one has challenged the Show. You have an entire system worth of baseball fans that would be yours.Comment

Re: Future of Baseball on the xbox?
However, the ability to not have to have an extra system hooked up in my small house would be a no brainer and very convenient. The very reason instead of hooking up all my old retro systems, I use a pc and emulation of the games I own. One stop shopping and convenient.
However, I will continue to keep my Xbox 360 hooked up and play all my old games with no issues.Comment

Re: Future of Baseball on the xbox?
Never mentioned anything about selling my system as I am somewhat of a collector, even have my Intellivision that still works. And I am very much in tune with all the 2k games and I think I have them all dating back to Dreamcast up through 360 (no basketball though, I do own 2k13 but never play it).
