Yeah, if I could do that, I would. I can wait though.

Something I noticed today. Some of the requirements to unlock the different uniforms require you to achieve player specific goals. This indicates to me that the game already tracks individual player stats & accumulates them. Hopefully a future update would create a display page for that. Would be nice to know how close I am to unlocking a uniform.

''' "No stats. This is not a simulation: You won't be keeping season stats, which is good, because I'm pretty sure Miguel Cabrera would end up with 194 home runs." '''

When are stats ever bad? I understand it is not a simulation, but so what? Having some simple benchmarks would really fill this game out nicely. I can't see the incentive for playing more then one season now. I agree with ravens52bears54, its tough to be excited about now.

I also read something about using the D-pad. I hope thats not mandatory.
You could rack up crazy stats in Tecmo Super Bowl too but it was still crazy fun. That excuse about inflated stats is ridiculous.

I still think it's hilarious that the new gen versions came out months after last gen and had online play is allegedly coming in a future update.
Is stat tracking coming as well? If not, I still don't care about this game at $20.

Not sure why stats matter so much. Stats are not what made the original RBI fun.

Because it's 2014 and if you're going to have a single player season Mode stats are a must. Not to mention Baseball Stars had stats and that was just one of the many reasons it was a much better game than RBI way back when.

This is not a simulation. Is an arcade game. Stats are not a must at all.

No ****. Neither was Baseball Stars, Ken Griffey or tons other from that era, but they still had them. And they were better for it.

RBI 2 was one of my favorite games ever, but it would've been loads better with stats. My buddies and I ran a season in that game way back when and kept stats in a spiral notebook.

I disagree. Those games didn't even have MLB licenses at the time. Stats have nothing to do with why they were better or not.

Agree to disagree then. I think th, fact that they did have stats definitely factors into why they are so revered.
As far as this nrmew RBI is concerned, if they want to charge what is ultimately top dollar for a download only title, it needs to have a basic feature like stat tracking. Online should've been included at launch too.
