I would like to be able to use 2D hitting..but I can't seem to get more than 4 or 5 hits in a game..much less score any runs...I hit fly ball after fly ball that hang up there for the OF to haul in. Even when the announcer says it's crushed, it rarely even makes it to the warning track.
I;m thinking maybe I need to use guess location which is suppposed to increase power; but I don't understand for sure how it works. It says in the manual to move the directional pad. OK. That moves the cursor...so does that mean that you have to leave the cursor unmoved for the increased power to take effect? Do you have to hold down the L2 button while and/or after you move the cursor with the directional pad?
I'm not a veteran gamer and most of my playing time on offense was with manage only; but the lack of offense and all the strikeouts on terrible swings and looking at pitches down the middle got to me. I don't like the 3D hitting and having to place where you hit it and my middle of the order hitters are too good.
